Just outside the small village of l’Arboc, about an hour drive south of Barcelona, Maria harvest’s her grapes. It’s a small plot of land that actually belongs to her father in law, but she and her husband farms it. 
The vines were planted back in the 1960s and grow the grape variety Xarel-lo rosado. The air is cooled by a nice breeze, coming from the sea, only 3 km East. Maria and her husband runs the small family operation and produces mainly sparkling and white wines. But this is new. It’s sort of a hybrid between a white wine and an orange wine. The wine is fermented with the skin of the grapes for 2 weeks. This gives the wine more color and a small tannic bite, like you get from red wines. 


We first meet Maria a few years back, making a story on her cava «Funambul». The passion and her love for winemaking, played a key role in us discovering more of this great wine region in Spain.

Entre Vinyes Oniric Brisat 2020 - 209kr


Straw yellow with a pinkish hue.
Very complex nose with ripe oranges, lemons and grapefruit. Notes of peaches, dried apricots and herb garden.
Very nice mouthfeel with good intensity in the fruit. Lemons and peaches. Very fresh and delicate, with good acidity and light tannins.


With food
This will be excellent with the cured meats of Christmas. But will also work well with most vegetarian dishes and salmon.
