Stunning Chardonnay from Australias South East coast, just outside Melbourne. 
The Kooyoung winery is family operated and owned. This beautiful Chardonnay comes from Tuerong, a north-facing vineyard planted in 1996. Elevation is just above 100 meters, with well drained clay soil. 
This single block wine comes from the "Faultline" block, hence the name.
Killer wine that drinks beautifully now, but will keep developing in your cellar for 5-6 years.

Tasting Notes

Kooyoung Faultline Chardonnay 2020 - 409kr

Medium deep yellow colour.
Fantastic smells of nougat and gunpowder. Also nice aromas of warm spices and nectarine.
Clean cut and elegant in the mouth with lemons and nectarine. Nicely integrated oak, smooth and long finish. Elegant.

Prawns on toast with mayo, snow crab or light fish dishes.
