There are so many mouthwatering aromas in this jewel from the Jura mountains in France, that it's hard to contain myself.

We love the Jura region. Neighbouring the world famous Burgundy region, it holds many of the same advantages. But with different micro climate and techniques unique here, they have developed several fantastic wines.
You can take a deep dive in our first "Drink" episode here:
Our wine of the week comes from a great and traditional producer, Domaine Rolet.

Tasting notes

Domaine Rolet Côtes du Jura Chardonnay 2018 - 255kr

Delicious aromas of butterscotch opens up as you pour the wine. Here's bourbon vanilla, fresh butter, cream and nuts. Nice touch of oak, french kitchen herbs and ripe lemons.

Pleasant taste of lemons, butter and apples. Soft and juicy in the mouth. Delicate acidity and superb length.
This is a lot of wine for the price.

With food
The richness and nice acidity lends this wine to a wide range of good food pairings. Here we could see white fish in creamy sauces, heavy shrimp & mayo sandwiches or try a lobster roll.

Will also work well with pizza, creamy chicken dishes and nice Wieners in a bun.
