TASTING NOTES

Picture

CAPE ROCK ASYLUM 2016 - 184 kr

Light, foggy yellow on colour. Delicious smell of pineapple, oranges, french herbs and white peach. Very vibrant, alive and different on the nose.
Light mouth feel with a zesty, lingering and playful feeling. Taste of fresh grapefruit, lemons and some lime. A light and bright wine sets out to entertain you. Delicious to enjoy alone in the afternoon sun or pair it up with a crab dish. That would be awesome.

A.A. Badenhorst Secateurs Chenin Blanc 2016 - 164 kr

A long standing classic that's been our everyday favoritt list for quite some time.
Deep yellow, almost towards green on colour. Exiting smells of ripe fruits, lime, lemons and a garden salad. Can you believe it? :)
Fun taste with lots of sitrus going around having a party in your mouth. Quite complex taste with some hazelnuts taking on the finish.
This to would be great to have with those summer crabs, or some other shellfish dish.
One of the really really price-value wine available in store now.

Testalonga Baby Bandito Follow your dreams 2016 - 229 kr

Light ruby red colour and with a nose that will intrigue you. Here you have loads of fresh peppercorns and rips blackcurrants. All mixed up with raspberries and red plums.
Light, but very present in the mouth. Here's a wine packed with fun and ready to open the carnival. There's loads of berries, wild berries on taste. Currants, raspberries and sort of all other wild berries as well. Light tannins that provides a dry and elegant aftertaste.
To me this wine reminds me of late summers up in northern Norway, stealing berries from our neighbours garden. Only did it a few times. Got caught! :)
Try this when barbecuing . Will sitt well with light beef dishes or more complex and spiced chicken dishes.
