The Cure - 88p

The cure comes from South Africa and is a beautiful Chenin Blanc blend from master wine maker Adi Badenhorst. 
This wine is from Swartland, an area that stretches 1 hour north of Cape Town and up to Citrusdal. The soil varies from sand in the north, to more slate and granite further south. Grapes in this wine comes from many vineyards and holds a cool mix of these soils. 
It’s a great value for money bottle and drinks very well alone, but will also be good company for many dishes.

Bright yellow straw colour.
Lovely aromas of peaches, dried apricots, lemonade, rosemary, tarragon and salty rocks. Hints of flower garden.
Great mouth feel with nice flavors of citrus, herbs and dried fruits. Good weight and nice texture. Powered by great and balanced acidity. A masterpiece at the price.


With food
Will be great with salmon, crab and prawns with mayo. But will also kick ass with vegetable lasagna and other vegetarian dishes. The Curator holds enough acidity to even be paired with chicken and pork dishes.
