“Old” new Wine - 89p

It’s that time of the year again - “The new wine” is upon us. In my opinion one of the worst pr hypes in the wine world. The Beaujolais Nouveau is being released on the third Thursday of November so be ready to drink some, quite frankly, not ready wine. I like to use this time as an opportunity to recommend a Beaujolaise with some age, not much, but at least the wine has had time to rest and fulfil its potential.

Jean Paul Brun Fleurie 2022 - 329,90 kr

Bright, ruby-purple colour, aromas are expressive and pure, with perfumed notes of fresh red cherries. Palate is full and ripe, having charming, well concentrated middle, suave, delicate texture, and a long, pleasurable finish. Try it with pork, chicken or just when you need a great glass to comfort yourself on a rainy November night.
