We really love all the great wines coming out of England these days. Everything from classy Pinot Noir, elegant rosé, razor sharp whites and fantastic sparkling wines. Due to climate changes and benefiting from the same soil as in Champagne, wines from England are concerning the world. 
One of the best producers is Simpsons Wine Estate. Located in Elham Valley in Kent, on the south eastern tip of the country. We’ve selected their sparkling «White cliffs», made from 100% Chardonnay.

Medium deep yellow colour.
Lovely aromas of ripe and baked apples. Butter crackers, lime and chalk. 
Very elegant and luxurious mouthfeel. Citrus, baked apples and brioche. Young, but with nice concentration and excellent acidity. Long.
Will keep developing and getting more complex for another 5-6 years.

With Food
Wish fish dishes, pork and chicken dishes on the barbecue. Parma or Serrano ham, or oysters. Just a fantastic wine to pair with a wide range of foods.
