Lovely Canadian Chardonnay - 89p

Every time I taste a Chardonnay from Canada, I tell myself «I need to do this more often».
The supreme quality coming out of the Okanagan valley is amazing. Clean, crisp and with excellent concentration. 
This week I’ve selected one of my favorite producers, Blue Mountain.
A small family run operation with a special focus on Pinot Noir, Gamay Noir and Chardonnay. Careful use of oak and very terroir driven in style, the winery is making a mark around the world. 

Tasting Notes

​Blue Mountain Estate Cuvée Chardonnay 2022 - 300kr


Light Straw yellow 
Lovely aromas of citrus, peaches, spices and wet stones. Hints of butter.
Nice and layered in the mouth with a nice citrus flavor. Peaches, cream and a touch of oak.
Good acidity, great concentration and very nice length.


With food
Buttered seafood dishes, clam chowder or try it with a chicken salad
