It’s rare to come across noble sweet wine, with age, at a decent price. But we found one. A 27 year old Sauternes, from the golden vintage of 1997. This beauty will be a treat for a range of Christmas desserts and sweets.

Tasting Notes

Deep golden brown, Cognac color. 
Rich aromas of dried apricots, oranges, honey and noble wood.
Thick textured in the mouth, with oranges, honey and dried fruit. Good intensity in the fruit, which still is quite vibrant considering the age. Medium acidity and a length that lasts forever.

 Cloudberry cream, cakes and pralines.
